You will share your expertise with about 20 other colleagues in the Valuation & Modeling team that is part of Deloitte Strategy, Risk & Transactions. Our team focuses on various valuation issues. Our valuations provide clients insights into investment decisions, disputes, and financial reporting issues. In addition, we help clients provide (renewed) insight into their business by building financial models. In this department, we find it important to continuously develop yourself. #AboutYourRole

As a Senior Consultant/Manager you will be part of a team that focuses on various valuation issues and financial models. Our valuations provide clients with insight into certain investment decisions, for instance in the context of a purchase or sale of a company or division, or in the event of a financial - or tax restructuring. Other situations for which our valuations are performed include shareholder and commercial disputes and financial reporting issues. As a Valuator, you will work to understand the activities, financial performance, and key drivers of a business and then translate these into a substantiated valuation.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work for industrial companies in Consumer, Industrial Products, Energy, Technology, Healthcare sectors as you will be:

• Managing teams/project groups and coaching and training junior staff.
• Elaborating business and market analyses and retrieving the relevant information from clients challenging clients on the information and analyses.
• Assessing - and working out - financial valuation ratios and benchmark analyses of comparable listed companies and transactions.
• Elaborating the value analyses in structured presentations for clients.
• Managing business development and acquisition of new assignments.
• Building your brand and eminence, becoming a go-to person both inside and outside Deloitte in a particular domain by publishing articles, facilitating workshops, or otherwise

With your personal strengths, view of the world and unique personality. You need the following qualifications for the position of Senior Consultant/Manager Valuations & Modeling:

• 3 + years of relevant work experience.
• A master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration and/or Econometrics.
• Experience in analyzing financial statements, market analysis, solid knowledge of financial mathematics and accounting, knowledge and application of the main company valuation methodologies.
• Experience with valuations and building financial models.
• Excellent command of the English both written and oral.
• French knowledge will be considered an asset.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
• High level of discretion for confidential work and information.
