As a Security Specialist, you will design, implement, and maintain advanced cybersecurity solutions across multiple domains including Web Application Security (WAF), Cloud Security, Security Analytics, and Zero Trust architectures. You will contribute to building secure digital ecosystems for global clients by combining technical expertise, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to modern security challenges.

Depending on your level of experience, you will either lead or support design, engineering, and operational activities related to detection, prevention, and response across enterprise and cloud environments.

#Core Responsibilities

Web Application & API Protection

•Design, implement, and optimize Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions for diverse web applications and APIs.

•Develop and fine-tune WAF policies, rules, and signatures to detect and prevent web-based attacks.

•Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure secure application delivery and minimize false positives.

•Analyze WAF logs and traffic patterns to identify anomalies, potential threats, and bypass techniques.

Security Analytics & Automation

•Engineer and maintain SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, Chronicle, QRadar, Cribl) to enable scalable log collection, parsing, and alerting.

•Develop dashboards, correlation rules, and detection logic to enhance threat visibility and response capabilities.

•Integrate SOAR workflows to automate incident triage and remediation.

•Enrich detections using threat intelligence (CTI) and contextual data sources.

•Collaborate with SOC teams to align analytics and engineering with operational needs.

Cloud Security

•Design and enforce security policies across AWS, Azure, and GCP to ensure compliance and end-to-end protection.

•Manage cloud and SaaS security posture using CSPM and SSPM tools, automating misconfiguration remediation and generating security reports.

•Secure cloud workloads (VMs, containers, serverless) with Cloud Workload Protection solutions.

Zero Trust Architecture

•Design and deploy solutions following Zero Trust principles.

•Support or lead Zero Trust readiness assessments and policy optimization.

•Implement and manage ZTNA, CASB, DLP, and SWG capabilities across enterprise and cloud environments.

•Design and implement SD-WAN architecture

•Configure and monitor SASE platforms (e.g., Zscaler, Netskope, Prisma Access).

•Conduct posture validation, risk-based access enforcement, and continuous monitoring of user and device behavior.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

•Work closely with security, networking, and application teams to enhance architecture and detection coverage.

•Participate in incident response activities and provide technical analysis for web, access, and detection-related events.

•Contribute to technical documentation, operational playbooks, and knowledge sharing.

•Stay up to date with evolving security technologies, threats, and mitigation techniques.

#OurRequirements

Key Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).

•Understanding of web technologies, Network and common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).

•Familiarity with WAF technologies, SIEM platforms, and Zero Trust principles.

•Good grasp of networking (TCP/IP, proxies, load balancing, DNS, VPN, micro-segmentation).

•Knowledge of cloud security across Azure, GCP, or AWS.

•Experience with TLS/SSL configurations and certificate management.

•Proficiency in log analysis and rule or policy creation (e.g., regex, parsing, detection rules).

•Understanding of automation and scripting concepts (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar).

•English fluency and strong communication skills in technical contexts.

Bonus Qualifications

•Hands-on experience with WAF or SASE technologies such as Imperva, Akamai, Cloudflare, Zscaler, Netskope, or Prisma Access.

•Practical knowledge of SIEM and SOAR solutions (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, Chronicle, Cortex XSOAR).

•Experience developing and tuning detection logic, dashboards, and alerting workflows.

•Familiarity with CTI integration, enrichment pipelines, and automation frameworks.

•Understanding of AI/ML-driven analytics and risk-based access models.

•Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CCSP, CISSP, or vendor-specific credentials in SIEM/WAF/Zero Trust technologies.
