How you will Make an Impact

As a member of an International Tax Transaction Services team, you will be responsible for proactively assisting clients in their day-to-day requirements, supporting them as they set up and maintain their business locally and implement cross-border projects, being a first point of contact for project management, corporate, tax and accounting-related queries.

Your main tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • proactively assist and overview in the day-to-day requests of a portfolio of clients reporting to Senior Managers and the Director leading the team;
  • consult and proactively understand the tax and corporate needs of a portfolio of clients and work with them to develop relevant and valuable solutions;
  • advise clients on issues relating to local tax laws, reporting requirements, statutory filings, transfer pricing and indirect tax and other international tax matters;
  • overview the maintenance of company registers and preparation and submission of statutory filings as well as perform other statutory obligations as may be required;
  • setting up and attending client board meetings;
  • keep board minutes and attend to other corporate documents as may be required and;
  • utilize and assist in the application of Deloitte technological tools for the purposes of client deliver.


Let's Talk About You

You are in the final stages of obtaining the ACCA qualification or equivalent or hold a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related area. Through this opportunity, you will build ongoing relationships with our multinational clients operating through Malta resident entities, while liaising with teams across the firm and abroad according to the clients’ needs.

You are able to work independently and on your own initiative but you thrive in a social environment and possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills. You have an excellent command of written and spoken English.

Candidates interested in studying for the MIT Diploma in Tax will be given preference.
