At Risk Advisory you will use and identify your strengths and learn on the site the strategic approach of managing sustainability related risks and integrate them in the business management processes.  Can you make the difference and help our clients address their Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) and Climate related risks, while developing innovative and tailor-made strategies?

As a Sustainability Consultant / Senior Consultant, you will demonstrate and develop your ability to:

·       Design and build Sustainable/ESG Strategy for clients and shape their sustainable governance and operating model.

·       Reporting and disclosure, using internationally recognized standards and guidelines, i.e. GRI, TCFD, IIRC, NFR, Athex ESG Guide, ISO Standards, UN SDGs.

·       Support clients with Sustainable Finance regulatory developments, obligations and alignment with the Business model, especially SFDR and EU Taxonomy, as well as PRI, MIFID, RRF.

·       Accelerate and support the transition to a Circular Economy by analyzing the whole value chain and implementing responsible practices.

·       Perform climate change risk assessment, scenario analysis and decarbonization pathway.

·       Design ESG Transition Framework, including metrics and targets: set, define and develop initiatives to meet short- and long-term targets.

·       Advise clients on establishing or improving end-to-end risk management systems, processes, and frameworks to enhance strategic alignment with sustainable business goals, enable effective decision making and response, and monitor compliance via the use of well-established frameworks.

·       Work with the Deloitte sustainability services leader in and coordinating the sustainability program regarding our clients and go-to market activities and helping execute our strategy.

·       Plan and execute projects in order to deliver increased quality, nurture positive working relationships with clients as well as provide accurate reports and presentations by leveraging critical thinking, experience, and judgment.

·       Driving tangible, measurable improvements to enhance project progress.

You will also:

·       Enhance our knowledge hub and tools across Deloitte internal team and participate in evolving Sustainability/ESG methodologies and best practices.

·       Working alongside others on all sustainability matters and industries as the team continues to grow.

#WinningRequirements

Are you passionate about Sustainability and eager to make the impact that matters?

·       2-5 years’ professional services experience within Sustainability and ESG, and knowledge of international standards, frameworks and relevant regulatory landscape.

·       University Degree / postgraduate qualification in Business Administration, Economics, Technical Studies (i.e. Environmental, Energy) or relevant with Sustainability, ESG, Bioeconomy and Sustainable or Quantitative Finance qualifications.

·       A Master’s degree level education in relevant fields will be considered as a plus.

·       Strong interest in Sustainability, ESG, Climate Change and Circular Economy Advisory (sustainable finance, sustainable strategy, sustainable/non-financial reporting).

·       Experience in sustainability, ESG metrics and sustainability risk management will be considered an asset.

·       Keen to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, addressing risk issues in a dynamic, challenging environment.

·       Prior experience in leading a team will be considered a plus.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in Greek and English including report drafting and delivering presentations.

·       Strong IT skills (Microsoft applications - PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

·       Ability to maintain professionalism and strive for high ethical standards at all times.

• Regulatory & Legal Support: includes services that help our clients manage regulatory compliance, enforcement actions, financial crime, and other regulatory investigation related matters (but do not include the practice of law). These services are usually in support of the Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Internal Legal Counsel, External Legal Counsel and other designated client leaders responsible for regulatory, compliance, and financial crime issues.
