Your role as a Consultant / Senior Consultant will focus on leading substantial parts of client engagements by understanding expectations and demonstrating personal accountability for keeping performance on track, exercising effective communication and relationship-building skills, and contributing to the priorities of the team and the business. In this role, you will commit to personal learning and development, explore opportunities to make an impact by delivering exceptional client services, and assist in growing the business.
During your tenure as a Consultant / Senior Consultant, you will demonstrate and develop your ability to:
- Exhibit business acumen and industry expertise to understand client challenges, opportunities, requirements, and priorities and support the design of tailored strategies that provide clear value to clients.
- Monitor macro and sector developments to identify trends and opportunities for M&A transactions and alliances.
- Substantially contribute to the execution of engagements to meet the objectives and priorities of both internal and external clients/stakeholders by leading key parts of the work at hand, working closely with other team members, and helping the team align to objectives, set priorities and direction, derive insights from research and analysis, and deliver high-quality results.
- Actively support the team’s business development process and display commitment to assist the team further grow by recognizing opportunities, building a strong personal and professional network, and leading marketing pursuit opportunities by overseeing the delivery of proposals or pitchbooks, presentations to clients and other relevant business development efforts.
- Lead the development of business and financial models that are sophisticated, robust, and easily interpreted to inform insights.
- Exhibit a strong drive for developing oneself and also for supporting other team members in developing their skills, improving their performance and their overall contribution to the team.
- Leverage specialized strategy & transactions domain knowledge to make recommendations that improve the deliverables of the team and add value to the clients.
- Demonstrate strong initiative and a strategic and proactive mindset in articulating and solving complex business issues.

To qualify for the role, you must have:
Required qualifications.
- Excellent academic background, including a bachelor’s and master’s degree from a top tier university in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant working experience, ideally in a strategy and/or M&A consulting-centered role, Corporate Finance / Investment Banking department, Private Equity Fund, or Big 4 professional services firm.
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling, business planning and investment evaluation/assessment techniques/methodologies.
- Ability to lead analysis of industry, competitor and company trends and issues to help team extract valuable insights that inform strategy and M&A related decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal skills both in Greek and English.
- Excellent knowledge in MS Office packages, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail and strong project management, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and teaming skills.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
- Strong numerical/analytical ability and a sound grasp of finance and accounting.
- Outstanding organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to learn, proactivity, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas, while working in a multicultural corporate environment.
- Military obligations fulfilled where applicable.
Desired qualifications
- Proven experience in handling M&A projects, focusing on target screening, managing/reviewing of marketing material preparation process (i.e., pitchbooks, teasers, information memoranda, management presentations), as well as on the execution of the transactions.
- An active CPA/ACCA/ACA/CFA certification (or in the final stage of completion).
