Our Extended Enterprise team, a part of Cyber and Technology & Transformation at Deloitte, is one of the fastest-growing practices within the firm. We are dedicated to supporting companies in assessing and managing risks associated with IT products and services, guiding them towards risk minimisation while optimising the balance between risk and business performance.

What We Do:

We offer comprehensive operational, strategic, and methodological support aimed at optimising IT asset costs, improving IT governance, and streamlining processes. Leveraging our extensive experience in model implementation and end-to-end managed service technology solutions, we guide companies through their digital transformation journey to achieve critical strategic objectives.

  • Design, lead, and manage the transformation of IT organisations, processes, and tools, focusing on managing the lifecycle of IT assets, including hardware, software, and Cloud, in alignment with enterprises' Digital Transformation and Cloud Journey;
  • Utilise and build upon our proprietary framework, developed through years of industry experience and based on international best practices and standards (e.g., ITIL, ISO, FinOps), to deliver exceptional support;
  • : Apply advanced technologies to analyse and design end-to-end business processes. Identify inefficiencies using quantitative and qualitative techniques, support large-scale data collection, and implement optimal business processes to mitigate identified risks across various domains (operational, legal, reputational, regulatory, economic, etc.);
  • Harness the power of Generative AI and data analysis tools to innovate and enhance IT solutions, drive automation, and provide cutting-edge insights for transforming business processes. Explore and experiment with the implementation of advanced data analysis and programming tools to further optimise IT operations.

#AboutYourRole

As a Technology Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients during the management of their IT ecosystems improving their efficiency and maximizing their investments. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging your expertise to deliver value-added insights.

You will support Clients in managing their IT Assets during the whole lifecycle, by analyzing IT systems and their main components: Hardware, Software and Cloud assets and provide advisory on IT related projects and initiatives.

Such projects may involve, but are not limited to, IT cost monitoring, IT cost optimization & cost reduction, technological obsolescence etc.

As part of our team, you will receive trainings on the installation & implementation of tools/technologies that provide up-to-date information on IT infrastructures and help automate the monitoring of IT Assets.

On the other hand, you will support Clients in understanding the contractual compliance toward Software usage based on licensing politics applied by Vendors.

Lastly, you will also have Project Management related responsibilities, like following up on unpaid invoices or updating our executive reporting on a weekly basis.


Regarding experienced candidates: 

  • Engage in various publisher projects (e.g. Microsoft) building your experience in the field of software license compliance and IT asset management
  • Be part and actively contribute to the Center Of Excellence of the relevant publishers and the IT Asset Management community
  • Support a team of Software licensing specialists to audit clients on behalf of different publishers and ITAM technology experts to advise clients on license optimization (e.g. Snow software)
    • Prepare and implement risk analyses based on understanding the tech environment against the terms and conditions of their contracts.
    • Process extracted data and perform data analytics to quantify the financial and operational compliance with the contract.
    • Maintain IT Asset Management technology to advise clients on their license use and financial/compliance risk.
  • Prepare all client deliverables such as calculations and reports. Support in drafting and proposing concrete improvements to our clients.
  • Support commercial activities and contribute to the further development of the Extended Enterprise team.

Let’s talk about you

·       You obtained a Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Computer Science and Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or have an equivalent qualification.

·       You have an advanced level of written and oral communication in English.

·       You have a good knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Outlook

·       You are interested or would like to learn about IT Asset Management & IT Cost Management

·       You have a critical and analytical mindset, you are flexible and have openness for feedback

·       You have an eye for detail, as you will be involved in executive reporting

·       You are eager to learn and a fast learner

·       You easily make logical connections

·       You can work well both independently and in teams, showcasing good communication skills

·       You are committed to contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and procedures

·       You behave professionally, and (pro-actively) communicate to management


For experienced candidates:

Have an affinity towards IT and technology and are eager to learn. Experience in licensing, general IT and/or IT Asset Management is a plus.
Solid written and verbal presentation skills.
You are a team player yet self-reliant, you know how to manage your own work and responsibilities.
A positive attitude with the ability to motivate a team and bring out their best qualities
You are enthusiastic and enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment where joint efforts result in success.
Fluent English. Other languages are an advantage.
A Bachelor or Masters in Information Technology, Business Engineering with a major in Information Systems Management or any other IT related degree.
At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Licensing

    ·       German proficiency and/or advanced level of written and oral communication would be an advantage.

    ·       Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming to support data analysis and visualisation (e.g. PowerShell, MySQL, Power BI, etc).

    ·       Technical Knowledge: Understanding of IT infrastructure functioning (on premise, cloud, hybrid).

    ·       Possession of certifications such as ITAM, ITIL and Cloud Fundamentals.
