We are currently seeking for ambitious team players to become part of our dynamic Cyber Security team within our Technology & Transformation department in Thessaloniki.

As a Senior Consultant in our Technology and Transformation department, you will take on a key leadership role in helping clients identify, assess, and manage risks that may impact their business objectives. This position provides the opportunity to lead complex and diverse projects, advise executive stakeholders, and contribute to shaping innovative cybersecurity strategies across industries.

In your role as a Senior Cyber Risk & Compliance Consultant, you will guide teams in the proactive and responsible execution of project tasks, while acting as a trusted advisor to clients. You will leverage your expertise to design, implement, and optimize cybersecurity solutions that not only meet compliance requirements but also align with business goals and foster resilience.

As part of your role, you will:

• Lead the design and implementation of cybersecurity strategies, tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Oversee and conduct cybersecurity assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities, evaluate risk quantification models, and recommend prioritized, actionable improvements.

• Ensure compliance with key regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, DORA, NIS2, NIST), supporting clients in addressing their legal and regulatory obligations.

• Define and refine incident response frameworks, ensuring that detection, response, and recovery capabilities are efficient and minimize business disruption.

• Act as a strategic advisor to client executives, IT leaders, and business stakeholders by translating complex cybersecurity challenges into business-oriented solutions.

• Provide thought leadership in the areas of data protection, cyber resilience, and security governance.

• Mentor and support junior colleagues in developing their skills and ensuring high-quality project delivery.

• Collaborate with other Deloitte service lines to deliver integrated cybersecurity solutions.

• Stay at the forefront of emerging cybersecurity trends, regulatory requirements, and new technologies to help clients maintain a strong security posture.

#OurRequirements

We are seeking experienced and driven professionals who are ready to take ownership of client challenges and deliver impactful cybersecurity solutions. The Senior Consultant role is ideal for those with proven experience in cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and compliance, as well as strong leadership skills.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.

• Fluent proficiency in English (written and spoken).

• Solid professional experience in cybersecurity strategy, risk management, compliance, and governance.

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk quantification methodologies, data privacy, and protection principles.

• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, engage with executive leadership, and communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Demonstrated experience leading project teams and mentoring junior colleagues.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset.

• Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management abilities.

Bonus Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIPP/E, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CCSK, CCSP, or advanced cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• In-depth understanding of regulations and compliance (e.g., DORA, NIS2, GDPR, HIPAA).

• Advanced expertise in IT and OT Risk Assessments, Third-Party Risk Management, and Cybersecurity Maturity Models.

• Hands-on experience in developing and implementing Incident Response Plans.

• Strong knowledge of cloud security and architecture across leading platforms (AWS, Azure, Google).

• Proficiency in German is considered a strong plus.
