As a Senior Business Consultant at Deloitte, you will lead transformational consulting engagements that drive measurable impact. You will combine strategic thinking, analytical rigor to solve business challenges that span strategy, operations, organisation, and change. This is a client-facing role where you will build trusted advisor relationships, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver solutions that shape how organisations compete and succeed in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
How you will make an impact:
Client Leadership & Strategic Impact
- Lead and manage consulting projects for clients, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of services.
- Develop tailored strategic solutions that address complex business challenges in areas such as:
- Business strategy and transformation
- Operating model and organisational design
- Change management and capability building
- Process improvement and operational excellence
- Human capital and organisational effectiveness
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding their strategic priorities and translating them into actionable consulting recommendations.
- Conduct rigorous research and analysis to identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and operational insights that inform strategic recommendations.
- Facilitate high-impact client workshops and stakeholder sessions.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices, translating this knowledge to enhance consulting services.
- Translate complex analysis into clear, compelling narratives through presentations and reports that drive client decision-making and action.
Delivery Excellence & Project Management
- Manage project scope, timeline, and budget, ensuring engagements are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that define deliverables, milestones, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate project outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Manage client expectations and communicate proactively on project status, challenges, and results.
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise and mentor junior consultants, providing guidance and support to help them grow and succeed.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Let’s Talk About You:
- 5-8 years of progressive professional experience, ideally in a client-facing advisory, consulting, or strategy role (management consulting, corporate strategy, transformation advisory, business analysis, or equivalent).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Strategic planning and business strategy,
- Business process improvement and operational excellence,
- HR consultancy,
- Change management,
- Organisation design,
- Operating model transformation,
- Market research and analysis.
- Exceptional leadership abilities to effectively manage a team and drive results, including the ability to delegate tasks, provide guidance and support, and make difficult decisions when needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven project management experience, including planning, organising, tracking project progress, and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including ability to break down complex problems into manageable components, comfort with quantitative analysis and data interpretation, critical thinking and creative solution development.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple concurrent priorities and ambiguous situations.
