Deloitte expands its Assurance team, having great ambitions for the future and wanting you to be a part of surging our Advisory practice in Greece.

Our Accounting and Reporting Advisory provides a variety of services responding to our clients’ needs, exploiting our experience and expertise. We mainly provide Accounting and Reporting services in relation to complex accounting treatments under IFRS / US GAAP / Greek GAAP, implementation of new accounting standards & GAAP conversions.

Successful candidates will demonstrate both their ability to enhance their skills and to work efficiently, under the supervision of experienced team members. Your role as a Senior in our Assurance team, in the Accounting & Reporting Assurance steam of services, will focus on the delivery of client engagements, by understanding objectives for clients and Deloitte, aligning your own work to objectives and setting personal priorities, teaming with others across businesses and borders and taking accountability for your own and the team’s results. In this role, you will build relationships and exercise your communication skills to positively influence your peers and other stakeholders. You will commit to personal learning and development by actively seeking opportunities for growth, you will share knowledge and experience with others, and act as a strong brand ambassador, embracing our purpose and values to put these into practice in your professional life.

During your tenure as a Senior, you will demonstrate and develop the ability to:

• Produce a high-quality work product and collaborate with your colleagues to deliver a superior client experience
• Understand how business functions operate and how sector trends impact a client’s business
• Select appropriate methods for collecting and analyzing data, and develop informed recommendations that shape or support the client’s business strategy
• Deliver key messages with clarity, confidence and poise to instill confidence in clients
• Apply a global and diverse perspective to problem solving
• Address client business challenges in the intersection of process and technology

#WinningRequirements

Specifically, candidates should possess the following attributes:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience (i.e. external audit, accounting advisory or IFRS reporting) in an audit & consulting firm.
• Relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent), in progress or completed
• Master’ degree from top-tier universities in Accounting, Finance, Risk, Economics Mathematics, Statistics or related subject will be considered an asset
• Very good knowledge of the IFRS Accounting Framework
• Proficient user of MS Office
• Strong oral and written Greek & English language communication skills
• Military obligations fulfilled, where applicable
