We are looking for an experienced SAP Delivery Manager to lead our multifunctional offshore development and implementation delivery center in Thessaloniki. You will oversee SAP implementation projects and manage a team of developers, consultants, QA specialists, and support staff.
You will focus on carrying out actively and responsibly the strategic and operational leadership activities assigned to you. Acting with progressively increasing autonomy within teams, you will be responsible for the quality of your work and its alignment with the clients' priorities, targets and needs.

As a SAP Delivery Manager you will be expected to:
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of SAP implementation projects, ensuring technical excellence, adherence to best practices, and successful solution delivery aligned with business objectives and client strategic goals
  • Ensure a smooth and effective collaboration with other Deloitte’s offshore delivery centers
  • Define and implement technical strategy and architecture governance for SAP development and implementation initiatives across multiple modules and client engagements; establish technical standards and best practices
  • Lead, develop, and mentor multifunctional teams (developers, consultants, QA specialists, support staff), establishing a high-performance culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous professional development
  • Direct delivery center operations and strategic planning, including resource allocation, capacity planning, workforce optimization, and SLA management to drive profitability, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction
  • Establish and enforce quality standards, performance metrics, and KPIs; monitor delivery timelines, budgets, and quality outcomes; implement strategic corrective actions and continuous process improvements
  • Manage escalation processes and provide strategic resolution for complex SAP-related issues in collaboration with senior technical teams and key stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strategic stakeholder relationships with clients, internal leadership, and cross-functional teams; serve as primary point of contact for delivery center performance and strategic initiatives
  • Ensure organizational compliance with policies, quality standards, delivery methodologies, and regulatory requirements; maintain audit readiness and governance standards
  • Lead strategic project planning, resource estimation, and capacity forecasting; drive business development initiatives and actively participate in proposal development and client acquisition activities
  • Provide executive-level project status reporting and strategic communication to senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders; proactively identify and escalate risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive project documentation standards, technical governance frameworks, and operational procedures; drive the development and adoption of best practices and enterprise-wide knowledge management systems

Key Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in SAP environments with hands-on technical knowledge and proven delivery center management expertise.
  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or in similar technical-scientific disciplines
  • 7+ years of experience in SAP with at least 3 years in management or senior technical leadership role
  • Experience managing offshore or distributed delivery centers with understanding of global team dynamics
  • Strategic understanding of global team dynamics, cultural diversity, and best practices in offshore delivery models; proven ability to build and lead geographically distributed teams
  • Translate complex business requirements into strategic technical solutions; lead cross-functional teams in designing and implementing enterprise-wide SAP solutions that drive measurable business value and competitive advantage
  • Proven expertise in SAP implementation methodologies and deep knowledge of SAP development tools and technologies (ABAP, Fiori, Cloud solutions, or equivalent)
  • Advanced technical knowledge of SAP modules with ability to provide strategic technical direction and architectural guidance
  • Comprehensive understanding of SAP system architecture, integration patterns, and technical design principles
  • Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at C-level and manage complex, multi-stakeholder client relationships
  • Fluent communication skills in English both oral and written
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills in complex technical and operational scenarios; demonstrated ability to drive strategic solutions
