- be a strategic leader responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap for a specific product area.
- focus on a whole area of products ensuring the products within the area aligned with business goals and ITIL/ISO 20000 service management standards.
- serve as the bridge between leadership team, customers, and product teams, driving product success through strategic planning, market validation, and technical oversight.
- maintain deep technical engagement to understand architectural constraints, technical feasibility, and innovation opportunities while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the product area.
- work collaboratively with the PO throughout the full PI/Sprint cycle to ensure proper backlog management, tracking, and prioritization aligned with company needs and strategic objectives.
- Backlog & Prioritization: Define and communicate the product area vision and strategy aligned with business objectives - Develop and maintain PI-level roadmaps with clear milestones and technical dependencies - Plan and manage PI cycles (3-month increments)
- Backlog Tracking & Governance: Establish backlog tracking mechanisms and governance processes - Monitor backlog health, velocity trends, and completion rates - Ensure all backlog items are properly tracked and documented
- Stakeholder Management: Gather and synthesize requirements from diverse stakeholders across the product area
- Continuous Improvement & Service Management: Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the product area aligned with ITIL/ISO 20000 standards - Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) - Review PI retrospectives and implement improvements across product teams.
- Business & Metrics: Budget management, Pricing strategy of the Product stack
- Product Discovery & Validation: Conduct user interviews and market research to validate product area assumptions - Define success metrics and establish analytics frameworks for the product area.
- Team Collaboration & Governance: Facilitate PI planning sessions to align teams on strategic objectives - Participate in PI reviews and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of product management or product strategy experience
- 2+ years of hands-on technical experience (software development, architecture, or technical product management)
- Proven track record of defining and executing successful product strategies at PI level (vision, market analysis, etc)
- Strong understanding of SAFe or Agile frameworks and ceremonies, SDLC, technical architecture
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, stakeholder management, influence without authority, cross-team coordination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language
- Ability to engage in technical discussions and understand architectural constraints
- Experience managing multiple product teams or a product portfolio
- Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement initiatives, conflict resolution etc
- Strong backlog management and prioritization experience, metrics analysis, health monitoring, documentation, governance
- Business Acumen: Pricing strategy, KPI definition
- Quick decision-making, prioritization, trade-off analysis, technical trade-off evaluation
- Knowledge of ITIL/ISO 20000 service management frameworks
- PRINCE2 Practitioner or alike
- PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner or alike
- ITIL Foundation certification
