Strategy, Risk & Transactions (SR&T) is an end-to-end strategic advisory practice, enabling our C-suite clients to make informed, robust decisions and strategic choices. It integrates the full scale of Deloitte's M&A capabilities, consolidates Climate & Sustainability advisory capabilities, and tightens the connection between strategy development and risk management to assist clients with navigating uncertainty and change.

You will be part of Deloitte’s Infrastructure & Capital Projects team, supporting clients in the public and infrastructure sectors. Our team works on large-scale and complex construction and infrastructure programs, covering all phases of the project lifecycle – from strategy and planning through design, construction, and delivery.

We combine technical, commercial, and project management expertise to help our clients successfully deliver their projects in a transparent, efficient, and risk-aware manner. By bringing together interdisciplinary teams and leveraging innovative approaches, we support our clients in transforming complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions and achieving sustainable project outcomes.

#AboutYourRole

As a Project Steering Professional, you will support the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of complex construction and infrastructure projects for our clients.

You will play a key role in ensuring transparency across projects, coordinating stakeholders, and enabling informed decision-making to achieve cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

Your key responsibilities include:

Supporting project steering activities across all project phases, including cost, schedule, and performance tracking
Contributing to change and decision management processes and maintaining structured, transparent reporting
Coordinating internal and external stakeholders and ensuring effective communication across all project participants
Managing interfaces between project teams, clients, and additional stakeholders
Supporting the development and application of project management methods, standards, and processes
Providing advisory and support services based on your project experience, helping to continuously improve project delivery

#OurRequirements

Required qualifications:

Degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a comparable field
At least 3 years of experience in project management, project steering, or construction management, ideally within complex construction or infrastructure projects
Solid understanding of project management processes and the delivery of construction projects across different phases
Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented way of working
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders
Fluent in German & English

Technical skills:

Proficiency in common project management tools (e.g., MS Project or similar) and Microsoft Office
Openness to new technologies and systems, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and digital environments

Additional requirements:

Willingness to travel and work on-site with clients as required
