Our team is specialized in providing in-depth transaction support services, especially M&A advisory, to private equity investors, international funds and other interested parties.

Strategy, Risk & Transactions (SR&T) Advisory

 

Strategy, Risk & Transactions (SR&T) is an end-to end strategic advisory practice, enabling our C suite clients to make informed, robust decisions and strategic choices. It integrates the full scale of Deloitte's M&A capabilities, consolidates Climate & Sustainability advisory capabilities, and tightens the connection between strategy development and risk management to assist clients with navigating uncertainty and change.

 

#AboutYourTeam

The Private Equity, M&A, and Infrastructure Advisory team is being setup as part of CFA practice. The team will advise on acquisitions, divestments, buy-outs and capital raisings across the above mentioned sectors, a significant number of which will be cross-border or international in nature. The team will work closely with the Private Market Advisory that provides consulting advice to public and private sector, and the Financial Investors and Institutional Tax teams that cover all the major sources of capital - Private Equity, Pension funds, Listed institutional landlord. As such, the team will have visibility across a wide spectrum of interesting real estate and infrastructure situations and access to global capital sources.

In your role as an Analyst / Consultant you will be part of a team that will handle the Financial Due Diligence within the context of a potential extraordinary transaction, supporting buyers and sellers in assessing their related risks and opportunities. Your role will focus on the execution of financial due diligence engagements, i.e. performing and presenting analyses on the financial and business performance of a company, including analysis of adjusted earnings (Quality of Earnings), adjusted net debt and working capital and understanding of other potential deal / value drivers, within the context of a potential extraordinary transaction, supporting buyers and sellers in assessing their related risks and opportunities. In this role, you will build relationships and exercise your communication skills in order to positively influence your peers and other stakeholders. You will commit to personal learning and development by actively seeking opportunities for growth, you will share knowledge and experience with others, embracing our purpose and values in order to put these into practice in your professional life.

During your tenure as an Consultant you will demonstrate and develop the ability to:

  • Proactively collaborating and interacting with the team and clients, identifying consistent methodologies and approaches;
  • Analyze large and complex data sets to extract insights and support solutions for clients;
  • Developing initiatives and solutions independently, gathering and structuring data, and conducting analyses to support business decisions;
  • Performing financial and accounting analyses, functional to preliminary and subsequent M&A transaction processes.


#Our Requirements

Key Qualifications


To qualify for the role you must have:

  • University Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines;
  • Good knowledge of the Office Suite;
  • Excellent command of the English and Greek language;
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills;
  • Military obligations fulfilled where applicable;
  • Ability to operate in high performing teams and manage multiple tasks;
  • Availability for travel and on-site work if required.



Preferred skills:

  • Postgraduate Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration from a prominent University (completed or in progress);
  • Experience in audit and assurance services, preferably within a Big 4 environment or another international advisory firm;
  • Knolwedge / exposure to big data anlytic tools (Power BI, Alteryx, etc.) will be considered an asset.
