How you will Make an Impact

As an Information Technology (IT) Auditor in the Risk Advisory Function, you are responsible for assisting the IT and Specialized Assurance Team in conducting IT audit and assurance activities. IT audit and assurance refers to the formal examination and/or testing of IT and related processes to determine whether the controls in place are designed, implemented, and operating effectively, in accordance with the relevant policies and procedures, laws and regulations, contracts, and/or industry guidelines. You will work under the direction and supervision of a manager and will be expected to contribute towards the successful execution of the team’s engagements.

Your main tasks will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Plan and execute day-to-day activities of IT audit and assurance engagements such as IT internal audits, covering general IT controls testing and/or IT application controls testing, Service Organization Control (SOC) reviews, Point of Sale (POS) system audits, security reviews, and other IT and specialized assurance engagements.
  • Assist in obtaining a solid understanding of the client’s IT environment, including risks and controls
  • Evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT controls in line with Deloitte’s methodology
  • Assist in timely delivery of audit working papers and reports
  • Assist in identification and communication of findings to internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in identifying process opportunities for improvement for the assigned clients

You’re a graduate or an experienced professional looking for an opportunity to start or take your career to the next level in a thriving team. You hold a Bachelors’ degree in IT/Computing, Business, or Accountancy.

  • Demonstrate awareness of or interest in learning appropriate and relevant technology tools required to support business processes and operations


Your Specialized skills:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Business and Computing, or Accountancy.
  • 0 - 3 years of IT audit experience with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and explore this opportunity with us.
  • For experienced candidates, knowledge of IT Management Frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ISO, NIST, etc.), experience in SOC engagements, or having CISA designation will be advantageous.
