#YourRole

We are seeking exceptional, highly skilled individuals to join Deloitte as Manager / Senior Manager with focus in Energy, Sustainability, Resources and Industrials Sector, to join our Strategy and Transactions team.

Your role will focus on the end-to-end delivery of client engagements by understanding expectations and demonstrating strong personal accountability and ownership of workstreams, exercising effective problem solving and leadership skills and contributing to the priorities of the team and the business.

During your tenure as a Manager / Senior Manager, you will demonstrate and develop your ability to:

• Leverage deep industry knowledge in the energy sector, including utilities, gas and power infrastructure and renewable energy sources to provide insights and opportunities.
• Manage projects related to energy transition and develop strategies to assist clients to navigate through the energy transition and to reach their net zero targets.
• Develop and maintain energy and financial models with focus on the power & gas sector, investment and decarbonization strategies, energy storage and energy infrastructures, PPAs, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions.
• Diagnose problems, conduct analyses, and develop solutions for client problems.
• Facilitate workshops/meetings and communicate insights and recommendations to the client.
• Take ownership of deliverables/workstream(s) of project(s), including developing team members, managing timelines and reporting to assignment managers to support overall project success.
• Think outside the box to identify new opportunities for clients.
• Develop people through effective delegation tasks and providing guidance.
• Cooperate with other Deloitte service lines on multi-disciplinary projects.

#WinningRequirements

 To qualify for the role, you must have:

• University degree in: Engineering, Business, Economics or Science.
• MBA or a postgraduate Degree with a concentration in energy-related fields would be considered a distinct advantage.
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience in consulting and/or departments related to energy of large industrials & construction companies and energy utilities, with a focus on financial and/or energy modeling.
• Deep understanding of energy strategy (e.g. hedging, energy sourcing) and/or energy transition concepts (e.g. net zero and transition plans) and/or energy investments (e.g. RES parks, CCGTs, infrastructure).
• Strong financial modeling skills and deep knowledge of MS Excel.
• Deep understanding of power markets and energy fundamentals. Understanding of gas market will be considered a plus.
• Experience in quantitative analysis and data modelling using Python and/or developing agentic AI systems would be considered a distinct advantage.
• Manage engagements end-to-end, ensuring high-quality delivery, budget discipline, and adherence to timelines.
• Strong technical, quantitative, and analytical skills.
• Excellent project management, attention to detail, communication, problem solving, interpersonal and teaming skills.
• Interpersonal excellence, as well as demonstrated leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team, as well as work effectively within one
• Strong oral and written Greek & English language communication skills.
• Military obligations fulfilled where applicable.
