Our Enterprise Security Team sits within Technology & Transformation Cybersecurity Team, one of the fastest growing practices in Deloitte. This Team is involved in reviewing, designing and implementing Cybersecurity solutions and architectures, aiming to enhance the overall security of client’s Infrastructure.

We are seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to join our team of trusted advisors. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the client relationship, translating business needs into security strategy, and acting as the bridge between clients and our technical implementation teams. This role is strategic, client-facing focused on guidance and advisory.

#Core Responsibilities

Strategic Security Advisory & Risk Management

•Guide clients in defining their cybersecurity strategy, translating business objectives into actionable and measurable security transformation roadmaps.

•Conduct security maturity assessments against industry frameworks (e.g., NIST 2.0, ISO 27001), identifying gaps and recommending a prioritized improvement plan.

•Develop and oversee risk management frameworks to help clients make informed decisions and prioritize security initiatives based on business impact.

Cloud Security & Transformation Strategy

•Advise clients on security best practices for multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), supporting them in creating cloud governance models and operating frameworks.

•Guide clients through the evaluation and selection of suitable cloud security solutions, such as CSPM, CWPP, and CIEM platforms, to mitigate configuration risks and protect workloads.

•Define secure cloud migration strategies, ensuring security is built-in from the earliest design phases (Secure by Design).

Zero Trust & Architecture Modernization

•Develop strategic roadmaps for Zero Trust adoption, conducting readiness assessments and guiding clients through the transition from traditional perimeter-based security models.

•Support clients in the evaluation and selection process for SASE, ZTNA, and CASB platforms, ensuring alignment with long-term business and security requirements.

•Provide strategic advice on security architecture modernization, helping clients understand and adopt concepts like micro-segmentation and risk-based contextual access.

Client Relationship & Program Oversight

•Act as the primary point of contact for clients on all strategic cybersecurity matters, building and maintaining long-term, trusted relationships.

•Oversee technical implementation teams, ensuring that delivered solutions are perfectly aligned with the client's strategic vision and needs.

•Prepare and present strategic deliverables, such as executive summaries, business cases for security initiatives, and progress reports on transformation programs.

#OurRequirements

Key Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM or any relevant technical field.

•Demonstrated understanding of cybersecurity principles and how they apply to business objectives.

•Familiarity with key security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST 2.0, ISO 27001).

•Knowledge of modern security domains such as Cloud Security, Risk Management, Data Privacy, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).

•Experience in a client-facing or consulting role is highly desirable.

•Familiarity with business strategy and the ability to align security initiatives with corporate goals.

Bonus Qualifications

•Project or Program Exposure: Familiarity with managing or coordinating cybersecurity projects or transformation initiatives.

•Industry-Specific Knowledge: An understanding of the security challenges in key industries (e.g., Financial Services, Healthcare, Public Sector).

•Stakeholder Communication: Experience presenting to or interacting with senior stakeholders on security topics.

•Consulting Lifecycle Familiarity: Exposure to the consulting process, including activities like proposal support or solution scoping.

Soft Skills

•Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

•Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with a talent for seeing the bigger picture and connecting security to business outcomes.

•Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders effectively, build agreements among different parties, and positively influence key decision-makers.

•A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across different teams.

•Methodical approach to problem-solving and strategic planning.

•Proactive and client-oriented mindset.
