The team works on assignment across the energy value chain and has a track record in high profile projects with major corporations present in Greece. Moving forward we are targeting to grow further our practice increasing the penetration of our strategy and energy transition services across the power & utilities, oil & gas sector industrial sector and beyond.

#YourRole

We are seeking exceptional, highly skilled individuals to join Deloitte as Consultant / Senior Consultant with focus in Energy Transition. 

Your role will focus on the end-to-end delivery of client engagements by understanding expectations and demonstrating strong personal accountability and ownership of workstreams, exercising effective problem solving and leadership skills and contributing to the priorities of the team and the business.

During your tenure as a Consultant / Senior Consultant, you will demonstrate and develop your ability to:

• Leverage deep industry knowledge in the energy sector, including utilities, gas infrastructure, renewables, and the ongoing energy transition, to provide strategic insights tailored to unique sector challenges and opportunities
• Effectively adapt to adjacent sectors, such as industrials, construction, resources and urban development to build understanding around challenges mainly from a business but also technology point of view
• Stay abreast of global and regional energy trends, regulatory shifts, smart technologies, and innovations, ensuring our clients are poised to navigate the dynamic landscape and capitalize on emerging market opportunities
• Diagnose problems, conduct analyses, and develop solutions for client problems
• Create and/or manage development of presentation materials and analyses required to drive project delivery and business development
• Facilitate workshops/meetings and communicate insights and recommendations to the client
• Take ownership of deliverables/workstream(s) within a project, including developing team members, managing timelines and reporting to assignment managers to support overall project success
• Think outside the box to identify new opportunities for clients
• Gather and interpret business and financial information to help strengthen proposed recommendations
• Articulate thoughts and ideas in a clear and composed manner to instill confidence in the team and our clients

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• 1-5 years of relevant work experience in consulting with a focus on the energy or adjacent sectors, or in strategic roles within relevant industries.
• University degree in: Engineering, Business, Economics or Science.
• MBA or a postgraduate Degree with a concentration in energy-related fields would be considered a distinct advantage
• Outstanding academic track record
• Strong analytical skills & problem solving skills and ability to provide business insights
• Interpersonal excellence, as well as demonstrated leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments
• Ability to lead analysis of industry, competitor, and company trends and issues to help the team extract valuable insights that inform strategy
• Ability to leverage customer data and research insights to understand sources of customer value and segment profitability  
• Strong oral and written Greek & English language communication skills
• Military obligations fulfilled where applicable
