We are currently seeking a meticulous Compliance Analyst to join our Quality & Risk Management team which forms part of the firm’s internal support functions, more specifically within the Independence & Conflicts team.

How you will Make an Impact

You will be involved in certain functions that form part of the Independence and Conflicts procedures of the firm and are driven by local and international standards and regulations applicable to auditors and professional accountants.


Your main tasks will include but may not be limited to the following:

  • Participating in the planning and execution of internal monitoring exercises, to test compliance with applicable independence regulatory requirements, firm policies and engagement acceptance policies.
  • Serving as the firm’s main point of contact for personal independence consultations.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of the firm’s mandatory ethics and independence training programme.
  • Participating in the development and coordination of the firm’s ongoing independence and ethics internal communications campaigns.
  • Providing ongoing support, as required, to the Director of Independence and independence Senior Manager (for example : preparation of reports and slide decks, research on technical matters that might arise)

Let’ s Talk About You

You have 1-3 years of experience in a compliance-related role and ideally have a background in auditing or internal controls.

  • Develops an advanced understanding of independence requirements (regulations and international standards as applicable), and the firm’s related policies and procedures.
  • Consults team leaders for clarity and applicability.
  • Escalates potential risks to team leaders.

Your Specialized skills:

  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Sound computer literacy; MS Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Practical experience in Audit, Audit specific compliance or internal controls.
