We are seeking exceptional, highly skilled individuals to join Deloitte as Assistant Manager / Manager with focus in Energy Sector to join our Energy, Resources and Industrials team.

Your role will focus on the end-to-end delivery of client engagements by understanding expectations and demonstrating strong personal accountability and ownership of workstreams, exercising effective problem solving and leadership skills and contributing to the priorities of the team and the business.

During your tenure as an Assistant Manager / Manager, you will demonstrate and develop your ability to:

  • Leverage deep industry knowledge in the energy sector, including utilities, gas and power infrastructure and renewable energy sources to provide insights and opportunities.
  • Manage projects related to energy transition and develop strategies to assist clients to navigate through the energy transition and to reach their net zero targets.
  • Develop and maintain energy models for the analysis of market fundamentals with focus on the Renewable Energy sector and Power Purchase Agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Diagnose problems, conduct analyses, and develop solutions for client problems.
  • Facilitate workshops/meetings and communicate insights and recommendations to the client.
  • Take ownership of deliverables/workstream(s) of project(s), including developing team members, managing timelines and reporting to assignment managers to support overall project success.
  • Think outside the box to identify new opportunities for clients.
  • Develop people through effective delegation tasks and providing guidance.
  • Cooperate with other Deloitte service lines on multi-disciplinary projects.

 To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Outstanding academic track record
  • University degree in: Engineering, Business, Economics or Science.
  • MBA or a postgraduate Degree with a concentration in energy-related fields would be considered a distinct advantage.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in consulting with a focus on energy transition, net zero and/or sustainability or adjacent sectors, or in strategic roles within relevant industries.
  • Deep understanding of energy transition concepts and emission reduction strategies (e.g. renewable gases, carbon capture etc.).
  • Understanding of energy market fundamentals and technical skills for energy & financial modeling.
  • Understanding of waste management concepts and/or experience in the water sector will be considered a distinct advantage.
  • Strong technical, quantitative, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent project management, attention to detail, communication, problem solving, interpersonal and teaming skills.
  • Interpersonal excellence, as well as demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments.
  • Strong oral and written Greek & English language communication skills.
  • Military obligations fulfilled where applicable.
