How you will Make an Impact
As an Advisory Senior in the Audit & Assurance Team you are responsible for the proactive and accountable execution of all the assigned projects, aligning work priorities and objectives to clients’ needs, exhibiting full ownership regarding quality of work both at individual and at team level, positively influencing your internal and external stakeholders by adopting a clear, empathetic and impactful communication style.
Your main tasks will include but are not limited to the following:
- Motivates and supports junior staff members to connect to ask technical questions and learn on-the-job and provides technical expertise for junior team members
- Develops understanding of how the assurance procedures performed relate to the specialist area of involvement
- Assisting clients with analytics and ways to develop and improve processes within their finance function and assist in the implementation of new accounting software packages.
- Ensure that any professional, technical or client service problems are communicated in a timely fashion to the appropriate individuals.
- Focus on evolving ESG matters and advice clients with verified ESG information; combine both significant auditing and assurance experience with a deep understanding of such matters and provide technical update training, including board sessions, on climate change risks and other emerging issues.

- Completes all training and other compliance obligations, including professional certifications, if applicable, on a timely basis.
- Evaluates problem(s) objectively considering facts, relevant professional standards or research, and develops a comprehensive picture of the problem.
- Strong commitment and proven record of professional and client service excellence.
Your Specialized skills:
- Use of the relevant internal and external knowledge databases and exploitation of the relevant information to benefit clients and the firm.
- Documenting business cycles using process flow diagrams, and highlighting flow of transactions and relevant controls.
- Candidates must be in possession of a finance qualification and looking to study ACCA or a finance degree.
- Practical experience in finance or auditing role will be an asset.
- Any practical experience in software implementations and use of analytical tools will be considered an asset.
