We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient professional to join our assurance team with a primary focus on supporting clients in financial reporting needs and throughout the full ESEF (European Single Electronic Format) reporting cycle. You will play a key role in helping listed entities comply with ESEF regulatory requirements, including the preparation, tagging, and assurance of iXBRL-tagged financial statements.
While deep expertise in ESEF and digital reporting is highly desirable, we also welcome candidates with strong financial reporting and IFRS knowledge who are eager to develop their ESEF capabilities. Your broader financial reporting advisory expertise will enable you to contribute to the wider accounting advisory function, complementing your ESEF responsibilities. This will position you as a key resource across the assurance department while supporting your continued professional growth in this evolving area.

How you will Make an Impact
Your main tasks will include but are not limited to the following:
- Prepare and review detailed advisory reports and memos for clients, providing technical guidance on financial reporting matters and complex transactions.
- Prepare and review consolidation workings and group reporting packages in line with IFRS and other applicable frameworks.
- Assist clients in the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and timely financial reporting.
- Contribute to the delivery of training on accounting standards and other financial reporting requirements to clients and finance teams.
- Lead ESEF assurance and advisory engagements, including the tagging and audit of iXBRL-tagged annual reports.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on ESEF compliance, xHTML formatting, iXBRL tagging, and the EU Taxonomy.
- Advise clients on the implementation of ESEF reporting solutions, tools, and best practices, ensuring alignment with IFRS standards.
- Coordinate and review XBRL tagging performed by internal teams or third-party providers to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Liaise with audit teams to integrate ESEF assurance into the broader financial statement audit.
- Monitor regulatory updates from ESMA, local regulators, and IFRS standard-setters, advising clients on implications for financial reporting and digital disclosures.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, contributing to their development and technical skills in both IFRS financial reporting and ESEF digital reporting.

- Completes all training and other compliance obligations, including professional certifications, if applicable, on proactive and timely basis along with guiding team(s) for the same
- Sets tone by leading teams in application of appropriate tools, methodologies, quality and risk protocols, relevant regulatory frameworks, professional standards and regulatory requirements along with judgment to deliver quality work on engagements whilst guiding team members to fill their skills/capability gap.
Your Specialized skills:
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CPA).
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in financial reporting, external audit, or regulatory advisory.
- Solid understanding of IFRS, financial statement structure, and EU regulatory environment.
- Experience in the insurance industry will be considered as an advantage
- Experience with ESEF or digital reporting is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with ESEF tools and software (e.g., Workiva, AMANA, ParsePort, CoreFiling) is an advantage.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions for clients.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset.
